Sims 2 Bugs

Updated game, so far I have had my sim get stuck in her car when returning from town. The car doesnt appear but shows her sitting there and time keeps ticking but not moving. Canceling the action cleared it but took awhile. Also my sim can't eat certain foods. Pancakes and burgers are the 2 so far, that when the sim sits down, it glitches back to standing position away from the table.
