Before the most recent update, my Sims 2 game never crashed. However, after updating on 2/28/25, the game crashes after only 20 minutes of playing. Additionally, no error messages or warnings pop up before the crash, it is always sudden after loading into the household. I have no CC or cheats enabled, so I do not know why I am experiencing this and I am not sure what to do now. Any help would be appreciated!

The game crashes when I make a save and it's random. It can be after the 3rd, 4th save or more during my current game session that it cuts the game. And the worst is that every time I restart the game and my game, of course the save was not done. And since yesterday, it crashes even without a save.
This is in no way a computer configuration problem because I have been playing The Sims 2 for years with the original edition, I even played with tens of thousands of CCs and everything worked more than well. Never had a problem. And since I have been playing on this new Legacy version, it's only bugs and bugs galore. The previous ones
are fixed but now it's these crashes that prevent you from playing. And then I also play lots of other big games and no problem either.
I've been playing Legacy since its release and I've been having these crashes with the save for over a week.
I'm still sharing my DxDiag file with you. And I have the Logs file but when I attach it to the message and post the message, the file .zip is not in it.

I've attached my logs folder here ! My game its also horrible. The gameplay crash randomly
crashing with trying to put sims from family bin, no idea what is going on.
Interesting to note that it's not AMD-specific, since Vinny is on NVIDIA

I just downloaded the game last night and have tried multiple times today and it won’t even open. It actually freezes my entire computer to where I can’t click anything. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it, tried to fix issues and nothing it won’t even open… I’m currently moving the folders to my desk top to see if that helps but I’m not hopeful. 😢

Just to make sure, your game is crashing? Your .zip doesn't contain the crash dump file which we're looking for.

I've attached my logs folder here VINNYS-LAPTOP-config-log.zip, only thing that stood out to me is that my Graphics Card is not "found" in the database. But I was having no issues pre update.
