Sims 2 memories

Question

&nbsp;My sim will have memories up until a certain point I.e. After teenager or after she's left for college. I then receive no core memories I.e. First kiss, achieving the deans list etc. I've again uninstalled and re installed and repaired game, also tried a new save file to no avail.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

The last memory my sim recieved was for going to college, she's in her last year and has had no further memories&nbsp;

Also cannot save items to my sims inventory I.e the baby bottle machine I cannot move it to my inventory, photos taken on photo booth (not in inventory)&nbsp;
