SOLUTION - NEEDED FILES SIMS 2 ERROR

Hi folks

I have managed to launch The Sims 2 without getting the 'needed files have corrupted' error message by completely uninstalling the game and installing as an administrator. I had to log on to the PC as an administrator as 'run as administrator' did not resolve this.
