1x95tgzma0ql Please remove or rename the Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts. This contains your saves and other user data, so don't delete it; the point is to see whether the game will open without this content present. Either way, we know where to look.
If this helps, let me know what mods and custom content you've added, if any, including any content from the Exchange. If you haven't, or you don't have any content you want to preserve, you can move your saves from the old Sims 3 folder to the new one and continue on.
If the clean folder doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
