Avatar change

Hey y'all, is the avatar changing on thesims3.com permanently down ? I bought back all my Sims 3 to be able to play again with the EA app and noticed in game that my avatar is still the goth child sims but i've set that up when i was younger and i'm litteraly stuck with it now HEEELP ! Also in game it just redirect me to the base page so it's not better x')

I've put a screenshot of the error message !

    t0mbqueen​  I haven't seen any other complaints about this in a while, so please try again—it's possible the site was having a hiccup the first time.  It's also worth trying with a different browser.

    I did ask around though, and haven't heard back, about whether this is a known issue.
