Cannot download items off Sims 3 Exchange
when trying to download items off the exchange, i get this error message:
"Upgrade your registration for The Sims 3 Community!
You must be a game-registered user to use certain community features.
Purchase one of our games by visiting your local retailer or by browsing our Games Page.
Already own a Sims 3 game? Please register your game and get full access to the site's features."
but when i go to register my product key it says its in use.
The problem from what i can tell is that i bought it and downloaded it on steam and used the product key on steam first, even though i have an EA app account. I uninstalled the steam version and linked the game to my EA app and downloaded it on the EA app, just to see if that worked and it did not. I have no way of getting in touch with a actual person at EA Support to help resolve my issue. Because I have the game, I can play the game, i just cant use the sims 3 exchange to get custom items.
help?
