Code Redeeming Issue

Same here , I went to ea app to redeem my codes but it says that I need to own a base game?? I already bought it and have it on my game list , I went to the sims 3 page to redeem it but the code is too long , after redeeming it on ea app again it told me it was used already .

rodmart1952  You'll need to contact EA customer support to get a refund for the content with the nonworking code.  I would strongly suggest using the live chat option rather than email.  If you don't see it, try this link:

Make sure you're signed into an EA site (this one is fine) before clicking the link and that the location in the lower-right corner of the browser window is set to U.S. or U.K.

Alternately, try using the help site without being signed in.  Some categories of issue allow you to proceed without an active login, and many of those offer the live chat option.

Evutis01  If all you redeemed is Ambitions, it should show up on your account under Sims 3 > Manage > Manage add-ons, sometimes with a small delay, and you may need to clear the EA App's cache as well:

The message about needing to own the base game is standard and doesn't mean the App thinks you don't own the base game.  And since a code can only be used once, even on the same account, it's also normal that your code showed as already redeemed the second time you tried to use it.

As an aside, on the Store site, you'd need to click Register a Game to register an expansion or stuff pack.  Redeem a Code is for Store worlds and other bonus content.
