meganbrownhk Sorry for the late reply; I was away from the forums for a couple days. What you've described is odd, especially since StoryProgression doesn't start running until a couple sim-minutes after the save loads. But if you want, you can try putting SP back, first just the base module, and doing the other steps. If that doesn't help, you can temporarily add all the SP modules and try again.
The point of my recommendation is that running that many SP modules on your computer is probably a significant contributor to the issues you're seeing. Between that and the demands of rendering snow (falling and on the ground), your hardware is probably having a lot of trouble keeping up. But that doesn't mean you have to take all these steps in the order I wrote them.
