Game won't load up randomly. (PLEASE QUICK ANSWERS)

I purchased The Sims 3 last year and it was working perfectly fine. I haven't touched the game in 2 or 3 months and basically forgot I had it. After the extended break, I started up the game once again, and it starts to run and poof. Game has stopped working. 

After that, I have to stop the Origin and Sims 3 Processes through the task manager before I can try again. It can't be my system. 

Anyways, here is more info if needed.

PC SPECS

Asus Essentio. 
2 TB of space 
RAM: 16.0 GB 
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3401 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) 
Graphics Card: NVidia GeForce GT 625 
Windows 8 64bit.

 

Sims 3 information

I have numerous realistic modes including lighting, textures, CaC content etc. No literal gameplay changing Mods. 

I have the little bundle that came with Late Night Expansion.

Game starts to load up at the Late Night screen, then the audio stutters, then it states it has stopped working.

    So I moved all of the Mod files out and th game loaded perfectly. So do I really have to sift through the mods to see which ones are or aren't working? They were working last time 😕mileymad:
