@Sunny_Rio Open the Simology panel, where you'd normally see the lifespan, and the game should say "Day X of Y" and show you a correspondingly full bar.

I take it the bar moves to the right? As in it's showing how many days you've had, not how many are left?
@Sunny_Rio Correct, it's almost empty on day one and full on the day your sims will be sent back home.
What happens to my holiday length when I go to Egypt while already in France? (Eg. to get some alligators or pomegranates). My visa level is different in each country.
