I have had this problem for about a week now. When I start the game, it works fine until I get to the point where I am supposed to chose which household to play, but it just keeps "connecting" foreve...

IldVannJordLuft Please go into Applications Utilities, open Keychain Access, search for sims3 , and delete any entries you see. Then try again to play, this time without signing in.
I did not have any password saved for the sims 3, and that is another thing; I cannot sign into the sims, only the EA app before the sims 3 - it will not allow me to sign into the sims 3 after - it have not done that for a couple years now, even when the game still worked.
