weird_lizzy09 I'm not sure what your setup is here, so I'll just say that the Steam version of Sims 3 is Windows-only, but you can register the product codes (called CD Keys) Steam gives you in the EA App, and then your content will show in the App and be available for you to download just as if you'd bought it directly from EA. The reverse doesn't work though—to own the game in Steam, you need to buy it in Steam.
The connecting issue in this thread has nothing to do with Steam. If you want to fix it, clear the Keychain Access data as described above.
