What's the ETA for a fix? I purchased 3 worlds that I can't install in my game because it crashes when I click the download button. I wouldn't have purchased them if I knew about this issue. Weird to advertise a sale for packs that won't show up because of this bug.
I don’t think they have any. I have figured out what’s kind of wrong, but every time I try explaining it to the help, it seems they don’t understand.
If you the worlds years ago there might not be anything to do. I had bought Hidden Springs, Monte Vista and Barnacle Bay years ago, and they were registered in store.thrsims3.com under purchase history, (they did not show up as registered on my page, but that does a lot of my expansions not ether.)
for me it only works with stuff registered and purchased after 2023, (thinks that is around when the EA App came) so I ended up buying the world combo and that worked, and then weirdly enough barnacle bay started working.
you can only download stuff (with a few exemptions) if it shows a blue download icon on the products page (not purchase history)
So with that information.
open your sims game and start the game, when you come to where you can pick your recent game of start a new (main menu), you have to login. When logged ind click on the 3 dots in the left down corner, and open download menu, and click on install on the world and other objects.
so with that said
every limited edition think you have gotten with the game cannot be downloaded if registered years ago. And you can only download regristation gifts, if the game is registered on the main page on store.sims3.com even though it’s registered in the ea app.
Everything bought with points prior won’t download and I think EA don’t care. I have used around 4000 points through the years and that just bad luck even though I can see I bought the things on store.thesims3.com.

- This is truly disappointing and has tainted my perception of the EA Sims franchise. This issue has persisted for what appears to be an entire year, yet no resolution has been provided. I recently purchased the game today and am considering requesting a refund. This situation is incredibly frustrating and has left me deeply disappointed.

Clicking the 3 dots doesn’t work for me because it will say my login information is invalid when I know it’s not. When I have gotten logged in by clicking forgot password, the launcher will open when I click download in purchase history and well we know what will happen after that.
