I'm playing The Sims 3 64-bit on macOS Tahoe 26 through the EA app. Since I installed the game last year, the Launcher has crashed whenever I click Download for Store content, whether I start from the Store website or the Launcher.
I've tried generating a fresh Sims 3 user folder, clearing cache files, resetting Downloads, moving dcdb0.dbc out of DCCache, and using the in-game Downloads Dashboard. None of these fixed the issue. Resetting Downloads sometimes lets me download temporarily, but installation still fails.
Is there a confirmed fix for this issue on macOS Tahoe 26, or a supported way to install purchased Store content without the Launcher crashing?
