klaimaki Is the DeviceConfig file in this Sims 3 folder getting refreshed when you launch the game? Its modified date should match the last time you opened the game. If it doesn't, this isn't the folder Sims 3 is actually reading, and you'll need to find that and add the Mods folder to it instead.
If this is the correct folder, please post a screenshot of the contents of the folder that contains your mods, as in, I'd like to see the file names and dates. Include the address bar, above the list of files and folders, in your screenshot as well.
