My sims 3/4 games aren't working!

Hello! So last month around the 14th of august, I tried to open up my sims 3 game and it wouldn't load ☹️ Coincidentally; I had just downloaded a new graphics driver at the time for a game called "Little Repair Shop" After, I tried to reinstall previous drivers and different versions of my computer but all I got was my old saves from a year ago. All of my new saves just vanished into thin air and I've spent all month trying to fix it but no luck (I might've made it worse lol.) Please Helpp!!

Also, My sims 4 game won't download like at all, I took a break from it about a year ago and wanted to hop back on but it downloads halfway (49%) then gets stuck. I dunno what to do. I did delete Ea and reinstall it however, its not working either.

    @Dasiapasiaa  Is Sims 3 working right now?  It sounds like it might be since you're saying your older saves have vanished, but I want to make sure.  Please also let me know whether OneDrive is running on this computer, even if you never use it.  OneDrive could have eaten your saves, so it's worth checking onedrive.com, both My Files and the Recycle Bin.

    For Sims 4, I'd suggest uninstalling the EA App and then using a cleaner tool like Piriform's CCleaner (the free version is fine) to clean out all leftover files from the App and Sims 4.  Reinstall the App and create a new folder into which you'll install Sims 4.  The folder should be on the root level of the drive of your choice, for example C:\Games is fine, but not C:\Program Files\Games.
