No download button.

@8976b5ff84050255  Which expansions did you buy?  If you click Sims 3 in your game library, then Manage > Manage add-ons, do you see the packs you bought, and what does it say underneath their names: Download, Installed content, or something else?

All the expansions I just purchased show up just like the others I purchased in the past.

This time there is NO DOWNLOAD button.

Why?

I purchased the expansions but EA won't let me download them.

@8976b5ff84050255  Again, what do you see instead of the Download button?  There are multiple distinct issues here, with different master threads, so it does matter.

There is list of add-ons.

Scroll down the list there is break in the page and all the new add-ons are listed.

With No down load button

After uninstalling the game and reinstalling

That list of add-ons shows all the previous add-ons with buttons that state DOWNLOAD

Then a page break with all the new add-ons listed. BUT no download button.

I emailed with EA. Both emails came back with generic advice with no help but to search this forum.

So I search and find no help.

EA is not on the nice list at the moment.  

I don't get why EA is completely skirting their responsibility.

I purchased and three days still I got nothing from them.

No download button AND no help from the help desk.

I’m having the same issue, and I’ve done it all the help solve it and still nothing and no answers from EA. It happened to me a a few months ago as well and the download appeared after 2 days but I am going on a week now with no answers. 

@8976b5ff84050255  Please post a screenshot or two.  I don't want to conflate what you're seeing with other known issues if your problem is different, and I can't see into your account to check whether the issue is the same on the back end.

As for where EA is, I'm guessing mostly on vacation, like a lot of other people are this week.

EA is present.

They responded with NON ANSWERS.

Generic statements that I should search the forum.

Ignoring I have a problem and pushing me to the forum.

The problem is for years people have had the NO DOWNLOAD button issue.

The answers in the forum are of no help.

Uninstalling renaming folders and saving games in other folders is ridiculous.

I just want a download button.

Five days and nothing from EA to help AND there is nothing I can find in the forums to help.

@8976b5ff84050255  I don't work for EA and have no power over anyone who does.  But I'm trying to help you, and I've asked for just a little information several times now.  If you don't want to provide it, fine, but that means you're going to have to wait for EA to fix whatever issue you have, whenever they get around to it.

I described what I see.   A list of add-ons, the old ones show a download button the new ones do not..

I bought six add-ons.  Do the names really make a difference?

Not sure what else I did not answer.

@8976b5ff84050255  I wanted to see a screenshot of the packs listed with no Download buttons.  This is both for my own reference and because that's one thing EA people often ask for when they're gathering data.  As mentioned, the EA App has a lot of problems that look and sound similar but are not identical and don't necessarily have the same root cause.  Screenshots also help when the EA App team thinks they've solved problem A and only need to address problem B, when in fact some people are still experiencing problem A.
