I'd also like to add, I've done a completely clean install (uninstalled everything, deleted all folders, sims, etc) at the suggestion of EA support, tried force quitting some utilities (also from EA - don't do it people, it will crash your computer!) and installed every SP and EP one by one running updates on every one as I go. I also ran without CC before the upgrade, everything went perfect.
Some word from EA as to when I can expect to play is all I really want, I've given up on the idea of playing my games for a good while. If it's not fixed soon, I'm selling all my games on eBay, I've paid about $400 for the game and all the SP and EP, just to have it sit there. Not good!!
