pressing play doesn't do anything...just from the first installation and update...please help!

i have windows 7
this is the First installation of the game and just completed the updated
of course i have the original.just the base game via origin
the only programm that is also open is irefox
i also have avira antivir and windows firewall

my pc has an Intel (R) Core(TM) i3 CPU 550 @ 3.20 GHz 4 GB RAM and also Nvidia Geforce 210

please help the launcher works properly but when i press play nothing happens!

What's your operating system ?

DId you try running Origin as administrator ?

it's windows 7..yes i tried as an administrator..same thing happens...i uninstalled and reinstalled it through origin but i had the same results..

can you check if a process ts3w.exe is actually running after playing start ?

after i press play i can see two processes. the first one ts3.exe and the second ts3w.exe but after two seconds they are gone! i'm really pissed of i don't know why is this happening..

Do you have .net framework enabled in program and windows features?

What is your base game version right now ?

Open the launcher and check the number in the lower left corner.

i activated the .net framework but the problem remains..
my version is 1.42.130.019037 if i update it to 1.67 then the launcher does not open either...i've tried to run ts3.exe from C:\Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin but still nothing..

Try resttetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps/td-p/714/

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.

i tried to do it but i have no options.ini file in my sims3 backup folder...i'm really confused...
