Problems to redeem The Sims 3 with Humble Bundle key

i'm having a sims 3 problem, the code to install the game is only 16 characters

PS: I swear the first time I tried to input the key on the Origin app, a message told me to go to the sim's website. But now when I tried again, the message links me to https://account.origin.com/cp-ui/redemption/index.
And than when I try to input the code there, it sais the code has already been used!!!

I did exactly like you, and yes, they first pointed to The Sims 3 website but now they point to "https://account.origin.com/cp-ui/redemption/index".

Obviously seems like they did wrong the first time and now our codes are like "used". I don't know what to do either. I hope we haven't to contact them one by one since I couldn't even find a single email for it 😕mileyfrustrated:

I sent an e-mail to Humble bundle's support, but I don't think it will do me much good. I bet Humble Bundle is receiving tons of e-mail which they won't be able to reply to. Not to mention the problem was on Origin's end, so they probably won't be able to do anything about it.

I think the besst thing to do is post on the forums and wait for official replys.

It did say to go to Sims3.com  Becuase that is where it sent me, that is where I redeemed my key.  That is where it told me it would be in my Purchase History... and that is exactly where it is not!  And now, Origin re-directs to the account page you just linked.  I am very sad.  I got all of the other games but the only one I actually wanted to play is theSims. I am very sad to have been dealing with this for the better part of 8 hours =(

Same problem here, was directed to the sims3 website and imput the code there and it said to go to purchase history and it wasn't there. So now I can't use my key at the other link because it says it is already used. I got the pack mainly for the sims game too ☹️

It's too bad that neither me nor anyone I know got a screenshot of the first error message, linking to thesims.com.
I just hope EA / Origin won't say "Hey, it's your falt! We told you to go to https://account.origin.com/cp-ui/redemption/index! You went and redeemed the code on thesims.com because you're stupid. Deal with it" or something of that sort....

On some other forum, an early buyer said he had no problem redeeming his code directly into Origin. He was basically one of the few 😉

They prolly run out of keys (since you need the key to generate a different key for the installer... it is all very logical, in bizarro world).

In any case, making their customers jump through hoops with random links that don't solve anything, quite the contrary, instead of saying simply and clearly to wait a day or two might not help their popularity and their reputation of treating customers like... whatever 😉

They shouldn't do that, andthe funny thing was when I redeemed the code on Sims3.com it accepted it and I looked AT the success message it gave and it was for the right set of games.  So, I don't know.
