Re: Invalid Code Error While Registering Sims 3 on EA Website

@kimysaur  If you registered the game in the EA App, the code has already been used and can't be registered a second time.  The Store site should already recognize that you own the game, as long as you're signing in with the same email address and password as you use in the EA App: the Store draws from the same database as the other EA services.

Please sign in with that email and password, go to My Page, and see whether the site thinks you own the content you've registered.  It's listed on the left and down a bit:

    @puzzlezaddict I tried this just now, but it's not here. Also tried logging out and logging back in on both the EA app and the Sims 3 site.

    @kimysaur  That's not going to help.  I'm not sure why the game isn't showing as owned on the Store site, but you might want to wait 24 hours to see whether something is lagging on the EA side.

    @puzzlezaddict Okay, I’ll do that. If it still doesn’t show in 24 hours, do you know how I can contact EA? I can’t seem to find their website for email or live chat support.

    Hi @kimysaur

    If your code is appearing as invalid when you try to redeem that, we'll need the live support team to review your account details and see what's happening with this code- here on the forums we aren't able to access your account details to investigate this further with you.

    You can contact live support for further help on this by following the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/using-ea-help/ If you have any issues getting through the help site, you can let me know.

    @EA_Solaire Hi, I can’t go to the site for the live support chat. I’ve looked everywhere for it. There was one link I found online provided by other people who’ve gone through the same issue, but it’s unfortunately inaccessible anymore.

    @EA_Solaire Well, I see instructions about what to do if I have an issue with my account and a game/product. I think I’ve tried everything that’s been written about the game/product issues, but it didn’t seem to help me. So, I’ve resorted to contacting support via email or live support chat, but I can’t seem to find those. I sent an email to [edit: email address removed], but I don’t think it will do anything.

    @kimysaur

    From the link here you'll select Sims 3 as your product, then select See All Help Topics. Here, you'll select I need help finding my game, and then you'll see both an email and live chat option.
