Save Resets After Edit Town

blueredkitten  Does this happen in a new save too?  Please test and let me know.  I'd also like to know whether this happens in vacation worlds only (WA worlds, University, the future world) or also in the homeworld in your affected saves.  Using Edit Town in vacation worlds should work, but there's more room for the process to go wrong.

The screenshots you've posted aren't standard, so either you took them before removing your mods, or you still have mods or custom content present.

I didn't put my mods folder back in and I tested it on a new save and tried edit town on what you suggested. Everything runs fine so far and I don't get the popup and nothing resets so that's good. 

It seems to show up still on certain old saves so would those be corrupted?

blueredkitten  It's possible the old saves are corrupted, but they're not necessarily so corrupted that they can't be saved.  What mods do you use?  I can suggest some that might help, or how to use them if you already have the (NRaas) mods that might fix the problem.  Please also let me know whether this happens in a homeworld specifically, since that's different from a vacation world.

The main mods I use is just NRraas. The rest is just CC. 

This glitch just specifically happens in a homeworld just whenever the save boots up. 

blueredkitten  Sorry for the late reply.  I haven't been on the forums for a while.

Are you specifically using NRaas ErrorTrap, Overwatch, and MasterController?  If not, I would suggest adding all three now.  Then run an MC town reset (click City Hall or the University admin building and select NRaas > MC > Town Options > Reset Everything), then save, quit, delete the cache files, reload, and see whether the same thing happens.  For reference, the cache files are:

• CASPartCache.package
• compositorCache.package
• scriptCache.package
• simCompositorCache.package
• socialCache.package
  
  

And again, I'd test in your sims' homeworld, sending them back home if necessary, to confirm that the issue isn't limited to a vacation world.  You can use "save as" to rename the save if you don't want them to go home yet.
