sim 3 file nuked itself, is recovery possible?

dracutones​  Please post a screenshot of what you see in your Saves folder, inside Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3.  Use list view so the Date Modified shows up.

There are mods that help avoid this kind of issue, and even if you can't recover your current save, they'd be helpful for the next time.  Let me know if you're interested.
