sims 3 HELP!

I use to be a sims 4 person until the boredom after building and creating people came, and that was a few years ago, so i’m familiar with the the sims is in regards to buggy gaming or the fact that the 4th version is the least exciting of the series, SO I BOUGHT… the Sims 3! -originally off of steam and it did not work at all after clicking the play button from the launcher so I uninstalled it and downloaded it through the EA app and now I can get past the launcher, but then I’m hit with this error. not too sure what to do here as I have tried a number of different methods, watched countless videos, changed a bunch of settings to try to get this thing to work- i’m desperate for nostalgia! I use Windows 11 on my brand new PC and yes, I’ve used the Alder Lakely patch or whatever it’s called but it did nothing? if ANYONE has any idea or even something similar going on that would be comforting, but I’m not sure what to do here please help..
