Sims 3 not loading - help!

@mysims678  As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.

If you get an error when trying to move the Sims 3 folder, or if the folder copies rather than moving, please let me know.

Unfortunately, your dxdiag only lists a bunch of crashes of Chrome, nothing that sheds light on the Sims 3 issue.  So if the above doesn't help, please look for any new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Today is on the right.

For any error that happened at exactly the time you tried to launch Sims 3, specifically this most recent time, right-click on the error name and select "View technical details," then copy the information you see and paste it here.  If you don't see anything, check back in an hour or so—the RM doesn't always update right away.  If you still don't see any errors after a couple hours, let me know; this is also useful information.

@puzzlezaddict  Thanks for your reply. Moving the Sims 3 folder out did not work unfortunately, it said that 'The action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program'  -   however it's not open anywhere, because I did not have it open or the EA app open, so unsure why it's being so awkward.

Checked the reliability monitor instead and the most recent Sims 3 error was the following:

At the moment I've only got the main base game installed to make things easier. 

@puzzlezaddict Reinstalled it onto Program Files/EA Games, and been able to play the game correctly with no crashes for hours now! Seems like it is all sorted.

@Amber002  Then use Revo Uninstaller; the free version is fine.

If that doesn't help, please let me know what issue you're seeing.

I've done as you suggested.Ive delete sim 3 and deleted from EA APP Site I've changed to a new folder I'm now downloading sim 3 here is hoping it works sims 2 Ultimate is working fine

I'm trying a new folder firstly if it don't work I will uninstall and try the same Group as sims 2 which EA APP recognises

I'm called an Apprentice all my years of playing Sim vanished I've played for years
I tried to play on old Origin which is on another PC but EA popped up for ING me to download it I'm just tired 3 times I've uninstallled then downloaded again

@Amber002  Origin doesn't work in Windows anymore.  What happens when you try to launch Sims 3 through the EA App (after reinstalling it, obviously)?  If you see an error message, please post a screenshot.  And if the game doesn't download at all, let me know.

If you don't see an error, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
