Hey everyone!
I am playing Sims 3 via the EA-App on my early 2015 Macbook with the latest software update. It loads perfectly fine, i can choose my household but when it´s done loading the whole programm shuts down after app. 1min (max)
I already cleared my cache, reinstalled Sims 3 plus the packages, i repaired sims 3 via the EA-app.

113d7dd7d53b8f30 As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't change any graphics settings, aside from the resolution and fullscreen/windowed mode, and don't add anything to the new folder yet. Just start a new save and see how it runs.
If this doesn't help, please repeat the test but with your computer offline. You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi before pressing Play.
It seems to be working fine with the folder moved out (Online mode). However I´d really like to be able to play with the family which is crashing since I spent a lot of time working on it.
Is that possible ?
113d7dd7d53b8f30 I apologize for the late reply; I was away from the forums for a while. You can try copying the one save to the new Sims 3 folder to see how it runs. Copy rather than drag and drop so the original remains intact in the old folder, and you don't need to worry about the effects of any mods/cc/Store content.
