Sims 3 Supernatural digital download fails to launch
The game crashes before it even loads up. Anyone else have this issue? Can someone help me?
What is your operating system: Windows 7
At what point does your game crash? Any regularities?: My game crashes after I press the play button and before the window even pops up. (I watch my processes in Windows Task manager and I see ts3ep07.exe and ts3w.exe show up in the list, then werfault.exe shows up in the list and then all 3 end.
How long can you usually play?: Can't play at all.
Which EP/SPs do you have installed?: World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, High End Loft Stuff, Outdoor Living Stuff, Pets, Supernatural (Digital download via Origin)
Are you using custom content and mods in your game?: No.
It's also good to include your DxDiag: Can't post my DXDiag, it exceeds 20k characters even when I try to post it in a new post.
For the DxDiag, you can split the text up into multiple posts (3 should usually do the trick).
As for things to try outside of the FAQ (which you must have already seen as you followed the format from the sticky for your report), I would suggest a clean boot first to ensure no third party software is intereferring with the game in the background: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
Thanks so much for your reply. The EA game advisor didn't even ask for my DXDiag, he was absolutely no help last night, just told me to do what I had already tried before.

@crinrict I would agree with you except that I could play all those games on this laptop before. Even Pets. I don't have seasons. I play on an Asus X53U. I recently had to have my motherboard replaced to fix the mouse as it was not working properly. My mother has the exact same laptop and she can run all the EPs fine. I can also run Skrim on this laptop just fine.
Also, I tried a clean boot and it still won't run.

werfault.exe is the Windows Error Reporting Tool. It would be helpful to us to see what error is displayed. In order to do so:
Click on Start and then type the following into the search prompt at the bottom: perfmon /rel
Press Enter to proceed.
A window will open and in there you can click on the red circles with a white X.
After clicking the X, the info on the bottom will update. Choose the Sims 3 Critical Event one and right click on it and choose "View Technical Details"
Now on the next window, choose Copy to clipboard at the very bottom and post this into a reply to us here.
