Sims 3 trouble :Game wont connect to Origin and Wont LAUNCH !!!!!!!!

I have had Sims 3 for about tow year noe and it has worked perfect'y fine every time i have played it which is not often unfortunatly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled my game to make room for other files. I recently reinstalled my game being that i will have some free time. it was working fine. Then i went to amazon and purchased teo new expansion packs through download. i took the steps nessasary to play my new games. when the prosses was complete i was informed that i needed to update my game to play my EP's so i updated to the latest version. 1.67. i tried to play mu games after two long days of downloads insallations and reboots .Now as i try to play my game i cant. the launcher will open and load. a box will open and say :Unable to connect to Origin. And if i hit the play button the game will not load at all it will exit the launcher and head back to my desktop. I have an Acer Aspire 5200 and i use Windows vista. I  have tried everything :troubleshooting reintalling, restarting, read every form that could help. Nothing works or helped . i just need to know if its my laptop or the fact that your software is getting worse when you are suppose to be making it better. Open to ideas please help

    Ah, one of those

    Many people have troubles playing the game with this. That computer is more of a sub-notebook and not really made for gaming demading games. 

    You should not get the not connecting message, that has nothing to do with your computer but your game not starting probably does.

    The game requires a 2.4 ghz computer to run and while AMD are different from Intel, 1.0 Ghz is just not good enough.

    Your graphics drivers are from 2011 on top of that. So try updating those. You have a AMD Radeon HD 6250 Graphics and you should be able to get newer drivers from this site: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

    i have tried those steps already and it didnt work. and yes i have reinstalled the game and origin multiple times mothing works

    Ah, one of those

    Many people have troubles playing the game with this. That computer is more of a sub-notebook and not really made for gaming demading games. 

    You should not get the not connecting message, that has nothing to do with your computer but your game not starting probably does.

    The game requires a 2.4 ghz computer to run and while AMD are different from Intel, 1.0 Ghz is just not good enough.

    Your graphics drivers are from 2011 on top of that. So try updating those. You have a AMD Radeon HD 6250 Graphics and you should be able to get newer drivers from this site: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

    I just updated my sims and now it is starting up i just new to play it to find out whether or not it will let me play. You should try it out!
