I have the same problem too, I have been playing it recently with no problem but I tired to load up Sims 3 the other day and it just bounces back to the EA App. I have repaired it, uninstalled it and tried the Alder Lake Patch. Nothing works, i just want to play my game!
KAMO17062403 It looks from your screenshot like this particular Sims 3 folder is directly in Documents, not in Documents > Electronic Arts. If that's the case, then the game wouldn't read anything in this folder.
Other than that, the file structure looks fine. So you could move this entire Mods folder into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 (and delete the cache files, again), and the content should show up in-game.
Hi, i moved my mods folder into the sims 3 folder that's in the electronic arts folder, but for some reason my mods still won't load, they don't appear in the downloads tab in the launcher.
When I moved the mods folder into that folder my game stopped loading like before. So there must be something wrong with it
KAMO17062403 Okay, please remove the Mods folder from where it is, or was when the game stopped working. Download the Mods Framework from here:

Delete scriptCache.package (again), and let me know whether the two sample mods work. If they do, you can start adding other mods to that folder. If they don't, the folder is in the wrong location.
