I did the recent 2025 update to my game and now my sims are not appearing in the control panel, the game will not let me move or edit town, my horse just keeps giving birth and I can't have my sim go to collect. Game play was completely fine last week prior to update. I have no mods and only EA expansion packs. Please help!!
blondeluvgoddess Try recovering a backup save. Even if you never made one, the game keeps the data from the second-to-last time you saved. Open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3, and you'll see a folder with your save name and another folder with the same name plus a .backup extension. Rename this and delete the .backup, so the folder name ends in .sims3 , and you'll be able to select it at the Main Menu.
If this doesn't help, please let me know whether you would be willing to add a few mods to try to fix these issues. And I'd also like to know what happens when you try to go to Edit Town.
