So I bought the Sims 3 Ambitions expansion pack today. It downloaded and installed no problem, but then I opened the launcher, and the bubble for the Sims 3 Ambitions was not filled in. I sort of panicked and went to The Sims™ 3 file and went to the uninstaller. Ambitions wasn't in the installer but was in the folder. I dragged the Ambitions to the trash can and emptied it.... So now its gone forever. How do I reinstall things from Origin?! Please, I need help, my frist time using Origin!

Log into Origin and go to 'My Games' it should show there and you can install it from there

I've gone there and all it says I can do when I click on Ambitions is 'Play' I've clicked on that but the launcher opens and is not there/

Log into Origin and go to 'My Games' it should show there and you can install it from there

Move your cursor over the game cover and click on the information "i" and then click on the install button from there.

All that came up when I clicked on the i was game info and I clicked on that but nothing with installing was there ☹️

OK. I am not sure what else to suggest other than trying a completely new installation of TS3 and Origin. Maybe there is some corruption in your setup.
To properly uninstall the game, see this guide:

Make a backup of your saves, downloads etc first.
To get the latest version of Origin, see here: the latest version can be downloaded from the Origin website at http://www.dm.origin.com/mac/download
I would install the base game and patch up to date, 1.63, before proceeding to add any expansions.
I hope you can get it working.
