The Sims 3 Homework

My Teen gets hoomework normally from school but when I left click on it from the inventory nothing pops up to choose between ' Do homework' or ' get help from...' , because of this my sims grades are dropping what can i do ?

edit to add is i edited my post to add the other bit i mentioned 🙂 sim's get all sorts of things stuck in the inventory teddy bears, cars etc you can try to go to the three dots and move the family out and back in via edit town so click on the three dots edit town click on your sims house- evict they will be in the clipboard tope left of the screen click that and move them back into the house

stuck in the inventory hmmm i don't know what expansion packs you have but if you have world adventures send the sim of with an older sim young adult or adult this for the most part can get items unstuck

edit to add save the game and then with save as new name before travelling

Thanks for the reply I don't have any expansion packs , does it still work on the game base ? oh and sorry but I didn't understand the last part of 'edit to add ' I'm still new to this :/
