The Sims 3 Seasons - Anyway to similate certain days having snow?

This is somewhat of a continuation from my last post, except not so ... 'whiny'. So, my question is the thread title.

It's just, when i turned on Winter, I saw on the forecast that it was nothing but Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow all week, and the fact the temp was dropping too, which made me think; "Oooooh! Does this mean if it doesn't stop, the town would be buried under 25 or more feet of snow!? Oh god, the rollplaying aspect is perfect for this!"

Unfortunately I didn't get my wish, so I'm going to disable the 'freak winter storm that can possibly freeze everyone to death in the city. As in take out power and stuff.' 😕mileyfrustrated: So anyway, I know there's an option that you can disable what falls from the sky. But that just feels so freakin' tedius turning that off and on to similate certain days having snow and other days it's sunny and the snow has a chance to melt.

Is there any way to really do this, or is clicking that button the only way? Maybe it's possible in Seasons Plus?

I'm not so sure as to what your last post was? Sorry.

Anyways, do you mean to control the snow level and everything like that?

So, you can use the cheat: testingcheatsenabled true to help you do that.

    To use:

    1. open cheat console (shift, ctrl, c)
    2. type in: testingcheatsenabled true (to turn off end with false instead of true)
    3. hit enter
    4. go somewhere and hold shift and ctrl while clicking on the ground
    5. choose seasons
    6. You'll see a whole variety of options there

Testingcheatsenabled true has many other options as well which you can find listed on the Sims Wiki (sorry I'd give you the link but I'm being kicked off the PC), I've read somewhere that overuse of it can result in a save error but that remains to be checked but don't worry.

    Hope that answers your question

Quick Edit: Seasons Plus is simply the base game with Seasons - nothing special there.
