Update error: invalid file found whilst updating Sims 3 from 1.45.005 to 1.50.56

There is a problem with the launcher update with this patch. the manual cumulative super patch works and can be dl'd from the first post in the technical forums of thesims3.com. Here is a dirct link - patch 1.50
