White Screen Minutes into Gameplay

Hi All, When I start up my game on my MacBook, within a few minutes of playing my screen looks like the attached. It happens everytime and does not go away. Anyone know how to fix this?

    297df20801780f30​  Try turning Lighting down to the minimum, and separately, try unchecking the Advanced Rendering box.  Change each one at the Main Menu, and quit to desktop before loading a save.

    If these don't help separately or together, please let me know which expansions you have installed and what world(s) you're playing in.  The Pets expansion is a particular offender on your Mac's class of hardware, as is Bridgport, the world that came with Late Night.

297df20801780f30​  Did you change the graphics options while a save was already loaded?  If so, please delete Options.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3, and load the game again, which will now be using default options.  Test without changing any settings.

If this doesn't help or isn't relevant, please post the full specs of your Mac: everything under About This Mac including the operating system and except for the serial number.

Please also post a screenshot of the graphics options you're using.  Put the game into windowed mode and use cmd-shift-4 to capture that portion of the screen, then attach the screenshot to your reply.

Finally, let me know whether you've edited the game's .sgr files or any other game data.

    Hi, 
    Thanks for your response. I’m now having an issue where the game just completely freezes a couple of minutes into my gameplay. See attached for what you requested. I haven’t edited and if the games .sgr files.
