🎃 #JCGSpark17: Haunted Hobbies of Ravenwood
Spooky season has arrived, and we are transforming Ravenwood into our ultimate custom spooky hobby town! For this challenge, design a Sim obsessed with an eerie craft, along with the space where their dark passions come to life.
🧙♀️ Part 1: The Haunted Hobbyist (CAS)
🕷 1 Sim, Young Adult or older (Regular Sim or Occult).
🕷Base their style, traits, and everyday look around their strange, creepy, or autumnal fixation.
🕷Some ideas are an autumn potion-brewer, a gothic doll restorer, a paranormal investigator, a tarot card reader, a cemetery groundskeeper, or a midnight horror streamer.
🕷Include a brief bio in their description detailing their spooky obsession and what brought them to Ravenwood!
🕸️ **Part 2: The Eerie Space (Build)**
Build Options:
🕸1 Single Room (potion nook, indoor studio, occult library, creepy attic)
🕸1 Outdoor Space (haunted garden, graveyard display, overgrown potion yard)
🕸Full Build (if you're feeling extra inspired to build their entire Ravenwood house or shop!)
🕸The Vibe: Moody lighting, dark wallpapers, gothic accents, atmospheric clutter, pumpkin patches, etc!
No Custom Content (CC): Pure game assets only!
Packs Allowed: All official DLC packs + my list of currently owned maker packs!
Hashtag: Tag your creations with #JCGSpark17 on the Gallery so we can showcase them on stream and map out our town!
Ends: October 3rd and Streams October 4th!
Create a Room/Outdoor Space, a Full Build, a Sim, or a combination🖤✨️
Beatrix Grimshaw's story:
In the shadowy depths of The Bound Raven Library, Beatrix Grimshaw writes fate into existence, living just above the stacks on the second floor.
Treat her collection with reverence and return every text pristine, and she dips her quill in gold, weaving quiet blessings and good fortune into your future. Disrespect her craft, dog-ear a page, let the due date pass, or worse.. Lose, damage, or steal a book.. and her quill drips with crimson.
Lost pages become lost sanity, and stolen books bind you as the next victim in her horror manuscripts. At The Bound Raven, every ruined volume demands a price, and no bad deed goes unpunished.
