I think it would be really fun if you could have the choice between temporary (2-4 days), semi-permanent (2-4 weeks) and permanent for hair colour change/effects. So you can change up your Sim's hair style or colour a couple to few times a week to seasonally, without it being a locked in hair colour unless wanted (after the time lapsed it would revert to default hair after next outfit change/bath/shower/etc.).
I'd also love this for make up too being able to set makeup from salon or a vanity mirror from a selection instead of going into CAS to change each time, and just revers back to default at the end of the day or next bath/shower/bed/etc.
I had this more thought as an activity but I'm not done with all the pictures for this concept.
