Can Branded Free Content Stop Being Forced

I have to agree with this. Additionally, while I may like the new content of the Coach items, I wish they didn't put a different thumbnail on them. It looks like I just downloaded modded content for the game. It looks so out of place. Additionally, I get this is Coach and who knows... EA maybe getting kickbacks for doing this which is fine... but this is still The Sims game. I really dislike seeing English spelling being used on clothing, pics, etc. I purposely avoided custom content that did this back in the day when I was starting to use custom furniture and decor. So, to see "Coach" written mostly in English on their content and very little was offered in the same colors, patterns and styles in Simlish leaves me cold and not wanting to use the new content at all. 

This might be unpopular opinion but I actually like the branded content. It feels like my Sims are buying merch from their favorite TV shows etc. But only as long as they are in Simlish so they fit in with the world. I appreciate they did put Simlish versions for CAS items with the new Coach collab. But they didn't do the same with all the bags... 

It would be much appreciated if Maxis could go back to making free content separate, OPTIONAL downloads rather than forcing us to accept extra tripe we may not want anywhere near our games merely to get the latest fixes. Just because you are giving it away does not mean I want to waste memory on storing it and all that crap adds up. 

The Branded items are still going to come I think this will be the first if I'm not mistaken that it's free usually you will have to pay.
