Can we have a pack based on The Netherlands?

as a Dutchy myself coming from The Netherlands, i want these in The Sims 4 and the first non-tropical world with a beach, i can't think of in other stuff

i'm also thinking about dykes and polders, the closest world we can get is Windenburg but that world is based on Germany, i want to have
The Netherlands country in The Sims 4 based on things other country don't have including some Dutch games and food

also a special event like Henford-On-Bagley, San Myshuno, Mt.Komorebi and Copperdale but in a unique way, we have our own thing like traditional Dutch games
(especially good for little kids since we need more options on kids) and Carnival that's in like each ages

and the Dutch climate wise: in Summer it's not too hot and in winter it's not too cold

(i think it's simulair with Windenburg except it's not that very hot in Summer, 15 up to 20 degrees)

maybe with flowers we can have a category for each flowers with the likes and dislikes

possibly a personality trait like direct and honest (we have a "act normal" attitude and can be in the complain category)

i can't think up other ideas based on The Netherlands but i hope EA sees this

(If you have ideas based on The Netherlands, feel free to do so😉😉👍)

  • @sailorleontine that's a great pack theme. I had a fun trip to the Netherlands from the UK on a Ferry several years ago. It's certainly unique in so many ways and could provide so much inspiration. I'd love to be able to build a windmill. I remember travelling around and thinking it's not like anywhere I've ever been before.

It would be a good way to introduce soccer to the game as well since so many great players and revolutionary coaching techniques have originated from the Netherlands.

  • I just have to note because I live in New England myself that Brindleton Bay is not tropical and has a beach!

But I'm always open for more non-tropical worlds. Tropical, Mediterranean and Desert worlds are too numerous. Although I understand that there are many, many cultures in those climates, and it's also not fair to not represent them (but maybe lets not have multiple different California-inspired worlds, you know?)

I was really excited to get a Scandinavian themed world in the last EP. I fear EA may think that it's too similar to the Netherlands. I'm not saying it is, but I can just seem them thinking it is.

agreed, i won't mind a beach world but the climate like The Netherlands, UK, Belgium, German etc also exist to have a beach👍

i get what you mean, we don't need multiple worlds based on the same country or city

Nordhaven is based on scandinavian countries (Sweden in particular) but i get what you mean, there's this lot name called "koffieboon" and that name sounds 100% Dutch and it does looks a bit like The Netherlands (when the reveal trailer came out, i literally thought it was gonna be based on The Netherlands, not gonna lie)

i wouldn't consider it too similair to The Netherlands though, besides scandinavian countries...according to The Sims community this world is also a mix of The Netherlands Germany and the UK👍

i bet some people thought the same way with Britechester based on the architectures too😅😅 (maybe EA too)

don't worry you're fine, not everyone thinks the same way like you do haha😉😉

(i didn't know Brindleton Bay have a beach though)

Don't worry, I don't think that Netherlands is the same as the Scandinavian countries, I was just thinking that EA might think "we've covered the area", even though they're wrong!

Honestly, I don't know how they think about things, though, so maybe I'm completely wrong!

Yes, Brindleton Bay has a beach. It's in the Eastern section of the world. Sadly, can't do much with it other than fish. I wish EA would add more functionality to all worlds with ocean in them!

  • Not InteresteD in another Scandinavian European world but EA has a good formula for these worlds and I'm sure we will see many more.

oh yes i totally agree about the EA, we're close as scandinavian countries but we're not one of them so EA have it all wrong, we're not scandinavian countries (Sweden, Norway and Denmark only)

and as for the beach or ocean itself i 100% agree, i think Copperdale has a beach too? i could be wrong but i believe it's not functional sadly😢😢 (i do know Ciudad Enamorada and Del Sol Valley looks like it comes with a beach based on the layout but it's not even functional)

the only actual functional beaches are Sulani, Tartosa and Tomarang😪😪

    we need more functional beaches!

    i agree with everything you've said here👍

just letting you know: The Netherlands isn't a scandinavian country

it may be close to scandinavian country but they aren't, we are from West Europe👍
