Returning back to dog walking, make a buy mode item that satisfies a dog's need for walking without having to take them for walks. Perhaps something like a pet treadmill or a dog-sized hamster wheel that dogs could use autonomously and satisfy their need to walk.
My sims have a huge yard yet that doesn't satisfy the dog's need for a walk. He literally just goes outside to poop then goes back into the house and then begs for walkies. It should be that if there is plenty of outside space on the lot then dogs shouldn't ask for walkies.
Related to the above, if there are pet beds around the house I shouldn't have to constantly be telling them to go to bed, they should just do so on their own when they feel tired.
My sim pets don't use the pet beds either, but they just sleep on couches or directly on the floor. Think they dislike them as much as we do. 😂
