Deleting in Library

Is this just a console issue, or does PC deal with this too?

Why do we have to manually delete items from our Library one by one?

If I want to clean out:

  • Sims
  • Households
  • Lots
  • Rooms

I have to:

  1. Click it
  2. Open it
  3. Hit delete
  4. Confirm
  5. Repeat. Over. And over. And over.

If you’ve downloaded a lot of Gallery content, this becomes exhausting fast. There’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to:

  • Select multiple items at once
  • Checkmark the ones we want gone
  • Click “Delete Selected”
  • Confirm once

That’s it. That’s the feature.

It would make organizing saves so much easier, especially for players who:

  • Rebuild their worlds often
  • Test out a lot of Gallery content
  • Download Sims for storytelling
  • Or just like refreshing their Library

It feels like such a basic quality-of-life update. We can multi-select files on almost every device and platform in existence — why not in The Sims 4?

  • To delete things from the library in-game is the same on PC as on console. Although, if I wanted to delete everything from the library, I could just go to the tray file via computer without opening the game to all delete of them. I never want to do that. Many PC players save to the gallery rather than the library. When creating a new Sim family and starting a new game I automatically go into my library and delete them if I do not want them auto-saved.
