They also created the tools and weapons of the Norse gods, Like Thor's hammer Mjølner, Odin's spear Gungnir, Freya's golden hair etc because of Loki's many pranks which backfired, and a bet he made with the Dwarfs in order to trick them to save his hide, which also backfired.
The story is pretty funny, but not as funny as when Thor's hammer was stolen which for once was not loki's fault.

Oh also the story about the cursed ring which inspired tolkien's lord of the rings is also loki's fault, and it too also involved the dwarfs.
