Enhancing Family Gameplay: Adding a Daycare System for Infants and Toddlers
Proposal: Add a Daycare System to The Sims 4
The Sims 4 already includes elementary school, high school, and university, but there is no proper daycare or nursery for younger Sims. This is a significant gap in family gameplay that could be improved!
✅ Daycare (Ages 3-6, Toddlers) – A system where toddlers can attend daycare for several hours a day, learning, playing, socializing, and developing basic skills.
✅ Nursery (Ages 0-3, Infants) – A place where infants can stay under the supervision of caretakers, allowing parents to focus on work, hobbies, or personal activities.
✅ Caretakers and Nannies – New NPC workers who not only take care of children but also help them develop skills.
✅ Skill Development – Toddlers and infants can improve their motor, social, and thinking skills while at daycare.
✅ Friendships with Other Children – Kids can make friends at an early age and maintain these relationships as they grow up.
✅ Daycare Challenges – Situations like conflicts with other children or fear of a caretaker, adding realism to the experience.
✅ Parental Involvement – Parents can choose different daycare styles: strict, free-spirited, or balanced, affecting the child’s development.
This addition would make family life in The Sims 4 more immersive and realistic, especially for players who love managing big households.
