There are people who are getting either frustrated, impatient, disappointed, and/or stressed out, which is sometimes the case with other glitches.

Yes, they are.... Although, it seems like not everyone who submitted a report about this glitch is tech savvy. 😓

My understanding would be is that this issue is still under investigation and they need more time to investigate the issue. I assume they are probably asking for save files as well as part of the investigation.

QA and those working on fixing bugs are not the same people who work on adding in new features. Those workers are not just going to sit there idle while bugs are being investigated and worked on.

Please can you provide a link to the various reports here on the forums you are speaking of as I would like to understand a bit more about the issues you are having.

There must be something oddly specific causing your issues as I've been building in The Sims 4 since release and not once has a build vanished?

Reverting to an older save, which I've done a few times this year, does not help at all since the glitch eventually returns like a boomerang.

I've mentioned this in another thread, but I actually had an emotional breakdown when the annoying glitch returned in my main save. Since then I've been on a break from the game... and didn't even bother updating it when the July update was released.
