The sims has always been pretty quirky and cartoony and honestly I wouldn’t have much interest in the game if it was more realistic. I have the chaos of real life for realism. In a video game I rather have some quirks and whimsy but to each their own.
Personally the only quirkiness I couldn’t get behind was the werewolves. (I wanted to like them since I like werewolves in a lot of other media but they are just too goofy in the sims 4 for my liking so I didn’t buy the pack) but that’s a personal thing on my part.
The good thing about Werewolves is that you can limit them to stay in Moonwood Mill so they don't appear in other worlds. You could avoid having to play with them at all but still enjoy the B/B & CAS items. 😊
