Granite Falls & Selvadorada Deserve More
With Zerbu’s “All Worlds Residential” mod no longer working, I’ve realised something: I just don’t use the vacation worlds anymore.
Granite Falls and Selvadorada are beautiful, but because they’re locked to vacation-only gameplay, I rarely visit them in my long-term saves. I don’t naturally send families on holidays often enough to justify travelling there, so they end up largely untouched.
What makes this feel especially strange now is that we can place vacation rentals in any world. So the idea of entire worlds being restricted to “vacation only” feels outdated.
Granite Falls would be perfect for an off-grid legacy. Selvadorada would make an amazing permanent jungle community. But as long as they’re locked, they simply don’t get used in my gameplay.
At this point, would it make sense for destination worlds to function like normal residential worlds? Vacation lots can be added anywhereso we don't need a world restriction.
Right now, some of the most beautiful worlds in the game are the ones I visit the least.
