Can we have more winter worlds?

i feel so bad now because 4 months ago i made exactly the same post, from now on i should check on my profile with things i've posted as a new topic

i copied things from an older post and deleted the older version but i hope you like this idea though?

It could be great for an extra vacation destination, one where you could also live. I miss it from Sims 2 where you could simply have all seasons be winter, I think Sims 3 also allowed that. Sadly Sims 4 gives no customisation there at all. 

I think it could be great to have like, an arctic expedition expansion, where there could be three regions in the new neighbourhood: A city part with a museum and some homes and shops (Stuff you find on expedition could be put in that museum.) A region with a harbour which is more rugged, with log houses and maybe a lumbermill too. Much more snow here, in the city part it would have been more cleared out but there always would be snow on the rooftops.  The harbour region could also have a shop where you can stock up on supplies and equipment for the expedition, which sims could really need to survive!

Final region would be the arctic, kind of similar to the jungle exploration from Jungle adventures. You can attempt to climb a high mountain here and plant your flag on it, find a Viking ship frozen in ice as the greatest thing you can find for the museum, but also all kinds of other smaller viking stuff for the museum like helmets, shields, swords, tools, etc. You might also find friendly penguins to play with, who might bring you a fish now and then as a source of food if you run out.  But there would also be a yeti living in one of the areas, with luck he is sleeping but if awake he could be easily angered and quick to beat up your sim. But there could be some trick to befriend him, which could be part of a lifetime aspiration of conquering the arctic. The Yeti could also be able to grab your sim upside down and shake whatever food they carry out of them to drop on the ground. It's theirs now. The Yeti can make it much harder for your sim to survive here though won't kill your sim directly. If you befriend him he can make it way easier though, then you could shelter in his cave. 

The arctic region would be tough though, Sims 4 is known to not be as challenging as previous games so for this one they could really ramp it up and give previous sims games a run for their money in that department. Sims would choose to go there though so there would be risks. The ship captain who can take your sims there could warn them, making it very clear. It would be very cold, there would be blizzards, a thick layer of snow slowing sims down, hard to find any food too so they need to bring provisions. Could be possible to do a bit of ice fishing or harvest some berries near the Yeti's cave. Ice fishing would require a pick to break through the ice first though. You'd need that pick to climb up the mountain too, along with climbing gear. Also need something to make a fire with to stay warm, and a shelter though you could build an iglo too but that takes longer and could also require some technical skill. It could be possible to make a shoddy iglo that won't provide proper shelter. 

It could allow for supernatural beings to be affected too though, like werewolves in wolf form could have less trouble staying warm but penguins would fear them and flee at the sight of them. Vampires would have to worry about the sun and have little place to shelter from that. Mages being able to create a fire would certainly be very handy here. Would also be neat if the lightsaber from Journey to Batuu could be used to cut a hole in the ice. (still waiting to be able to cut through the jungle with it instead of a machete.) The yeti could also run away when someone pulls a lightsaber, fearing for their arm. 

omg i love your ideas, one of them should be an destination world for sure and the other winter worlds in a residental world where you can visit them at any time for more variations even in the winter worlds😄😄

It would be super fun to get more winter worlds! I've attached some potential inspo pics for some of the places you mentioned (Alaska, Nepal, Switzerland, South Korea, China)

i don't know the exact tittle based on my ideas

i once accidently made a topic that's exactly the same like this one so i copied that to the most recent post and deleted the older post so i won't lost my idea completely

but i want a vacation world where we can learn things

like building an iglo either as decoration or as a venue/lot trait type

learn about new animals

set up a tent to keep themselves warm

same with set up a campfire but also to heat up the food so you can eat them to prevent them from getting hungry

(can't think of any other stuff they can learn in that world)

a new death type called "dies by an avalanche" and restricted to that world or place only

instead of climbing your sim can go hiking through the mountains

meet winter animals like penguins, southern elephant seal and blue whale to name these 3

aspiration:

Winter Survivalist: Master the skills needed to live in extreme cold, such as building igloos, setting up campsites, and cooking food over a fire.

Animal Enthusiast: Build relationships with the rare winter animals that live in this world, from penguins to seals.

Mystery Seeker: Unlock the secret cave and discover new, hidden areas filled with valuable artifacts and rare creatures.

a secret cave: unlock the secret world similair to the first few worlds and even "Jungle Adventure" a few questions pops-up untill you can visit them (rather than the rabbit-hole one) so you can collect new things there once you explore around that cave, maybe even meet new winter animals there that only appears in that cave

unless they add Granite Falls and Selvadorada to the residental world, this idea should be on the destination/vacation world only so you get to experience things you won't have in all the other worlds (if Granite Falls and Selvadorada DO gets added to the residental world, this world should get added to the residental world)

maybe we can add something similair to Simple Living except it's more extreme you can't even cook things you have collected with this pack idea so campfire is needed with this lot challenge idea

i think this idea is based on the north or south pole? (or a mix with these 2 a bit)

this world idea is even colder than Mt Komorebi (even without Seasons installed)

CAS: more winter and pajamas outfits and even more winter shoes and gloves options

This makes me dream of a pack like Cottage Living and Eco Lifestyle but around living in the snow.

That'd be a great opportunity to add more indigenous representation like the Innuit and i'd love to see penguins, owls, sealions, ermines, squirrels, and other small cold weather animals.

I imagine a small village having legends about werewolves, yetis and selkies and some of them showing up as NPCs. Maybe we could even get Father Winter's house/factory and elves too similar to the Grim's house in Ravenwood.

i'm open-minded about this ideas, we need more winter worlds for sure haha😄😄

the team should definitely add a snowy beach world, i don't think we have any single snowy beach world
how cool would that be? an another world you can do climbing, you'll get a beautifull landscape with nature and beaches if you've reached the top😍😍?

or atleast go to a rabbit-hole which the question pops up you need to answer and if you have the correct answer it will ask you to visit that location (similair to Granite Falls)

you'll get a beautifull view from high up, snowy beach, beautifull landscapes etc

maybe even do ice skating in that snowy beach world😊😊

game pack or expansion pack, it's in a "must-have" list for me
