Here’s my take (feedback)

I’m going to be honest in this post, so I’m not holding back. The base game, regardless of whether you’re playing on PC or console, is extremely frustrating and boring. There isn’t much to do, infants, toddlers and nannies are broken, as other players have probably already said and the secret lots are also really boring. Oh, and the events are buggy and pointless to do unless you have tons of DLC. Not fun for those that can’t afford the extortionately priced DLC. On to my next point.

DLC (in particular, Lovestruck and Cats and Dogs to name a couple, I’ve got more):

Cats and Dogs

Veterinarian Skill, love it, somewhat well implemented, not my main gripe. That is… veterinarian appointments, my goodness they’re broken, you’re lucky if you can get your pet seen and if it happens, it takes ages (could be due to Sims being seemingly coded to be incompetent, I don’t know). If there are are anymore, I don’t really know about them, but that is my main problem with the pack.

Lovestruck

I know other players have already said this, I’m just going to reiterate it, the couples are so frickin’ invasive. Weddings, they’re there, uninvited. That is so annoying, the constant need for goals during the date events, it even affects the date, negatively. I don’t like playing with goals, since it feels like I have to. There are more but I need to move on.

Island Living

I like the concept, living on an island, doing the occasional side hustle, what’s not to love? My main gripe: the fishing spots don’t work properly, Sims apparently can’t get to them, when they’re right in front of them when the Go Fishing interaction is clicked or chosen. Please fix this, it’s really infuriating when all you want to do is send your Sim to fish.

Final point

My overall view of the game over the ten years I’ve been playing has deteriorated significantly since I’ve had the game. The stuff above is just a few points. Also, it’s nice that you’re listening to players now, but you should’ve started listening to us years ago, before tons of outrage and uproar got all over the internet. Ooh, before I go, it seems to be that with each subsequent game update or pack release, the game breaks and the mechanics that we pay for, through the means of DLC, are either causing bugs within gameplay or save data corruptions. Now, this isn’t within our control, there’s only so much data backing up and transferring we do before something else makes even the backups unsuable. Please fix these issues.
