New idea regarding upcoming update

Hi guys, sorry I haven't been answering threads I started etc. cause I am taking a break from the sims right now ;p I only came cause I heard the news there new autonomy update coming and I have this grand simple idea thats a must have ;p

Is this the place to get through to our dev team right?XD

So, one thing I think would be great to have in game is an extra option for aoutonomy, to keep sims from canceling all their queued actions, when you give them a new one.

So right now there are two:

No autonomy: Sims stand in one place like zomibies awaiting players command ;p

Autonomy: Sims do what they want, untill player gives them a new command and then they straight away cancel all the actions they queued themsleves, and do what player wants.

I was hoping for a third option, lets call it assertive:

Assertive: Sims do what they want until player commands them but once he does, their own queued actions dont get cancelled straight away, they just stay there and player can cancel them if he wants.

Its handy because they often have sensible things queued like get up, eat, go to toilet, take shower, go to work ;p And once you add one more on top of it all the previous ones disappear ;p And you have to like add them all over again ;p

And also cause when I play I like to find a common ground with my sims ;p Like there are things I want to do and what my sim wants to do and we just kind of do something in the middle ;p

What do you think guys ? I hope its not too much and not to late to ask ;p and that this is the right place for this kind of feedback ?;p Will it reach The Sims team ?;p

Anyways thanks and much love =)

  • Isn't that basically what we already have in the settings with turn autonomy off for selected Sim? Like you can still have other Sims in the household running autonomous actions but as soon as you select another Sim it disables autonomy for them, lets you line up some actions and then you can move into another Sim and the other Sim will still carry out the tasks you assigned them first.

Well yes, but what I was trying to say is that, as soon as you give sim a new action he cancels all the actions he added to the queue himself. And I was thinking it would be cool if these actions he had queued himself wouldn't disappear as soon as you add him a new one on top of them.

Maybe  I am explaining this wrong, its not my strong side ;p

So say your sim is on his own and he has loo queued cause his bladder bar is yellow ;p

You select him and choose go dancing.

He cancels the loo and goes straight on to the dance floor. And you have to cancel the dance floor, select the loo again and then select the dance floor again.

With new option, your sim is on his own, has the loo queued, you select him, choose go dancing, he still goes to the loo first before going dancing, unless you cancel the loo yourself.
